I don’t have a whole lot to work with here.\u00a0 In a rare work-related reference, I will mention that I started a new position on Tuesday and it has cut into my entertainment time somewhat.\u00a0 In a good way though.<\/p>\n
Wednesday night Munkirs drove out to my house for a bike ride.\u00a0 Alas, it was not to be.\u00a0 Our well-laid plan was to take off at 5:30 and get a good hour in, leaving plenty of time for mowing the lawn and other such mundane tasks.\u00a0 By that time it was raining pretty good.\u00a0 We stood in the driveway with our bikes for a good 20 minutes, convinced it was some kind of hoax, since there wasn’t any mentionable rain in the forecast.\u00a0 When the thunder and lightning kicked in, we called it quits.\u00a0 Since my lawn-mowing plans were likewise cancelled, I spent the night on the couch watching Netflix movies.\u00a0 I watched “Isolation<\/a>” and “Hot Tub Time Machine<\/a>,” both of which proved moderately entertaining.<\/p>\n Last night Munkirs again made the drive to midtown, and we joined the Hoopers ride to get some miles in.\u00a0 Good ride, such as group rides go.\u00a0 I think it was just a bit faster than last weeks group, but we stayed with them fine.\u00a0 About 3\/4 the way through, the main group zigged and we zagged, opting for our own slightly shorter route the rest of the way.\u00a0 We did the same last week and a pretty good crowd followed us, but we didn’t get any takers last night.\u00a0 All the better.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" I don’t have a whole lot to work with here.\u00a0 In a rare work-related reference, I will mention that I started a new position on Tuesday and it has cut into my entertainment time somewhat.\u00a0 In a good way though.
