One day down, 355 to go. \u00a0Sigh. \u00a0New Years are rather tedious. \u00a0We had a solid start to our year though. \u00a0Friday was a non-event as I was saving my strength for New Year’s Eve partying. \u00a0(This strategy didn’t really pay off, but it gave me a good excuse to lay low Friday.) \u00a0We went to the Brooksider, only to find it over-run with Iowa fans watching their bowl game. \u00a0We retreated to the safety of the patio, but that got a little chilly eventually so we wandered over to Hooper’s and watched the first half of the Missouri game. \u00a0That was enough fun for a Friday we figured, so we called it a day.<\/p>\n
