Not much to go on from that weekend. \u00a0Friday was without a doubt the highlight. \u00a0We met up with the Martin’s and headed out to the Royal’s home opener around noon. \u00a0It turned out to be quite a nice afternoon, at least as far as the weather was concerned. \u00a0We cooked up some italian sausages and sat around enjoying the sun for a while, then headed in to the ball park in time for all the pre-game ceremonies. \u00a0We had some great seats; \u00a0About 10 rows off the field just to the left of home plate. \u00a0I s’pose we had as much fun as you can have, considering the results of the game. \u00a0After that, we headed home and grilled up some chicken for dinner.<\/p>\n

Saturday Donette got up and headed to the Rock The Parkway<\/a> 1\/2-marathon. \u00a0She was supposed to be running, but she’s been on the DL for several weeks with a bum ankle so she just went and helped out with the event. \u00a0Teagan and I walked over a bit later and watched most of the race; \u00a0Oddly entertaining. \u00a0After that I don’t recall that we did anything of any interest what-so-ever. \u00a0Watched the Royals get drubbed again, and maybe a few bad movies.<\/p>\n

Sunday shaped up remarkably similar to Saturday. \u00a0Went and hung out at the gym for a few hours and that was about the extent of it. \u00a0I rolled down to the Brooksider to watch the Royals, mostly out of sheer boredom. \u00a0Turned out to be a rather nice afternoon to sit outside and watch them take their daily beating. \u00a0That killed most of the afternoon, then a band came in and ruined the day. \u00a0A band??? \u00a0On the patio???? \u00a0Come on. \u00a0So, I headed back home to some delicious homemade reuben sandwiches and more foreign-language movies. \u00a0Whew. \u00a0Lame weekend. \u00a0I’m getting bored just typing this.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
