Seriously, that was not a weekend you want to hear about.\u00a0 It was my much-dreaded oncall weekend, so I spent the vast majority of my time huddled in a dark room in front of the glow of an LCD monitor.\u00a0 And it ain’t over yet, I’ve got the entire week looming in front of me like a dark cloud.<\/p>\n
The little entertainment I did have this weekend was “Grease” at Starlight.\u00a0 It pretty much sucked, and was made even worse by the constant buzz of my stupid pager.\u00a0 (Well, that and the 95 degree heat.)\u00a0 We bailed at intermission.<\/p>\n
Last night we went over to Susan’s house to watch a couple of back episodes of Entourage.\u00a0 The spaghetti dinner was great, the TV marginal.\u00a0 The excitement for the evening was watching Gabe tackle his new chew treat, which was rated on the package as lasting “UP TO ONE HOUR!!!”\u00a0 He took this as the challenge it was, and gnawed through it in a remarkable 20 minutes.\u00a0 (Material in the “excitement” category is woefully slim this week.)<\/p>\n
