It Through Another One"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We kind of mailed it in on that weekend.\u00a0 Just a bit worn out from the previous work week, and not a lot going on around town to get us out and about.\u00a0 We did start strong with a nice little happy hour over at our hour on Friday.\u00a0 I fired up the smoker and threw on some ribs, and our friends Michael &amp; Alaina came over and ate with us.\u00a0 Threw a few games of bags, listened to some fine music (of my choosing) and watched a few episodes of The Sopranos.\u00a0 Fine evening in my book.<\/p>\n<p>Saturday we took Quinn to the local dog park for some exercise.\u00a0 Poor lil&#8217; guy does get bored with our sedentary lifestyle I&#8217;m afraid.\u00a0 Unfortunately, the dog park wasn&#8217;t much of an outing for him, this time at least.\u00a0 It was a great park for what that was worth.\u00a0 Nice and clean, and plenty of room to run around.\u00a0 On the downside, there were no dogs for him to play with.\u00a0 He did seem pretty fascinated watching the nearby soccer game through the fence, but didn&#8217;t get much exercise in.\u00a0 We stuck it out for 45 minutes or so, then just went back home for the good ol&#8217; standby of fetch in the back yard.\u00a0 Later that evening we went over to a friend&#8217;s house for his daughters 16th birthday party.\u00a0 I would say it was more of a party with our friends because his daughter was having a birthday, but she did stick it out with us old folk for 30 minutes or so.\u00a0 Hey, we had a good time of it and it was nice of her to provide us with an occasion.<\/p>\n<p>Sunday, as is usually the case, we did a whole lot of nothing.\u00a0 Well, that goes for me anyway.\u00a0 Donette went over to the clubhouse and helped out with a big community event they were having.\u00a0 It sounded like fun, but more kid-oriented than I cared for, and I needed to kick back on the patio and watch my fantasy football suffer another humiliating defeat.\u00a0 They did have one attraction of note;\u00a0 A local food truck that I always see driving around.\u00a0 I wandered over and got a taco plate but didn&#8217;t stick around long after
