Now THAT was a nice weekend, weather-wise if nothing else.\u00a0 It was relatively entertaining also;\u00a0 I’d say we made the most of it all around.\u00a0 I even had the good fortune to have Friday off as a bonus.\u00a0 Score!\u00a0 It was a long week at work, so we didn’t really do much with Friday afternoon except wind down.\u00a0 Went to the gym all day…\u00a0 Which is to say we laid out at the pool all afternoon.\u00a0 For dinner we traveled south out to Munkirs house.\u00a0 It wasn’t as far as I remembered;\u00a0 We took the dog to boarding, gassed up the car, packed some snacks and a change of clothes, and we were there before I knew it.\u00a0 Last time we went out there we had to spend the night at a hotel somewhere in Overland Park;\u00a0 This time we drove it straight through.\u00a0 It was worth the drive though;\u00a0 Grilled Kebabs and ‘tators, right up our alley.\u00a0 For after-dinner entertainment we played some kind of card game.\u00a0 I did a few seconds of research on Google and I can’t find it to provide a descriptive link though.\u00a0 I think Janene may have made it up on the spot.\u00a0 It was fun but I didn’t win, so I will never play it again.<\/p>\n
