{"id":924,"date":"2011-02-08T09:34:03","date_gmt":"2011-02-08T15:34:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.pkenagy.com\/blog\/?p=924"},"modified":"2011-02-08T09:34:03","modified_gmt":"2011-02-08T15:34:03","slug":"spring-has-sprung-5","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.pkenagy.com\/blog\/spring-has-sprung-5\/","title":{"rendered":"Spring Has Sprung?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Spring is upon us.\u00a0 You heard it here first.\u00a0 Well probably not, but I am supporting the forecast at any rate.<\/p>\n<p>I must say, yesterday shaped up rather nicely after a somewhat sketchy start.\u00a0 Things started looking up when KB called me up and we went out to a high-power business lunch together.\u00a0 We talked about all kinds of businessy things over some delicious food at Gordon Biersch.\u00a0 For some reason I seemed to remember being down on that place, but it&#8217;s back on my list now.\u00a0 I had an awesome grilled mahi-mahi sandwich with garlic fries;\u00a0 It single handedly turned my entire day around.\u00a0 With a full and happy belly, I toiled through the remainder of the afternoon, and then Donette called and said she needed to run to the movie theater so she could give me a ride home if I so wished.\u00a0 No bus ride home, heck yeah!\u00a0 Actually I was more concerned with the walk to the bus stop than the ride itself.\u00a0 I wasn&#8217;t exactly dressed for the weird cold snap yesterday afternoon and there was a reasonable chance of frostbite involved.\u00a0 So, she went and picked up a few movie tickets, then we hung out at the Flying Saucer for an hour or so.\u00a0 After that it was home to watch the Missouri game.\u00a0 Well, the day didn&#8217;t wind up so hot on that note, but I&#8217;ve accepted that there will be at least a few letdowns every day.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Spring is upon us.\u00a0 You heard it here first.\u00a0 Well probably not, but I am supporting the forecast at any rate.
