Well, I still haven’t returned from sunny CA.  I did move inland a bit, however;  I spent last weekend in El Dorado Hills, about 20 minutes outside of Sacramento.  (Or an hour if you get lost.  But that’s another story.  Note to self:  Don’t second-guess the GPS in unfamiliar territory.)  This was still a work-related venture, so I still don’t have any riveting tales of revelry to relate.  I’m more given to holing up in the hotel and watching TV, which consumed no small part of my free time.  I did frequently take advantage of the nice gas grill at the hotel, in conjunction with the Whole Foods right across the street.  I enjoyed several awesome steaks, and a blue cheese hamburger of such a size that it more closely resembled a meatloaf.  I packed stuff to go cycling, but, just like at home, that didn’t happen.
